After undergraduate studies at University of Florida, Dalhousie University, and the University of King’s College, he graduated from Stetson University College of Law, Florida’s oldest law school, with a concentration in environmental law. He subsequently pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in Energy, Natural Resources, and Environmental Law at Lewis and Clark College Northwestern School of Law. He has lectured on environmental law subjects at Stetson, University of Florida, Florida State University, University of Miami, and University of South Florida.
